We are a dynamic, family-run company specialising in the supply and production of high value bio renewables such as Borage, Echium, Lunaria and Chia. Our attention to detail and in house, dedicated seed processing plant allows us to offer a flexible and reliable service, with complete traceability.
Thanks to the foresight of our Founder, Peter Fairs, Fairking Ltd has been producing and processing niche crops for over 50 years. As such we have built up a wealth of knowledge and agronomic experience in this area, establishing ourselves as the UK's leading borage supplier and first British Chia producer.

A Brief History
The company was incorporated in 1982 although the name Fairking originated a decade earlier when Francis Nicholls of John K King & Sons and Peter Fairs of HJ Fairs & Son started a successful business relationship.
The early years involved adding value to Pulses through Colour Sorting, Splitting and Polishing but it was the fascination with Novel Crops which cemented the partnership of Fairs and Kings.
Today, Fairking Ltd is a totally independent family company but the interest and association with speciality crops is undimmed. Peter has been joined by his son, Andrew, whose farming expertise has helped to develop even better growing techniques for the unique range of crops grown and processed by the company.
